Why push back the update for X... moreThe fact that month old device will get it in Q2, 2022 shows why a company should not keep on releasing phones after phones every month when they have a small number of developers for developing updates for hoardes of devices. Same for most of the Android OEMs. Thankfully, being on a custom ROM makes me feel happy.

As has been pointed out... moreActually, it says in the bottom left of the roadmap that the beta rollout is for India only. We know from the RealmeUI 2 release, that the final version doesn't come a month later, it comes months later, and then it takes months to reach all regions. At least OnePlus releases it everywhere at the same time.

As has been pointed out... moreYeah exactly, the colour options are there on 2.0 as well. What is more baffling is the sheer ignorance or lack of knowledge/research if you read the ColourOS 12 hands-on over on xda.
It mentions the 3 dark-mode settings and the quick access side-bar & AoD as the new features🤦🏻♂️

As has been pointed out, this is the beta roadmap. Most people won't be granted access to the beta, and the final release will be months later, so possibly 12 months from now for many models.

They should have included all the higher performance phones in the first update, and its just tweaked colour os anyway, they should add x7 max and other device in first release segment
