Twebi, 11 Oct 2021So why reviewers say the phone gets hot oftenIDK why people don't know this yet but a phone's frame and body is its own heat dissipation material. A phone with a really good passive cooling will distribute the heat away from the SoC but where does it go? To the frame, rear, display, then to the ambient air around the phone, or anything that it contacts with it (your hands, case, etc.).

If the phone gets hot and you feel it then its torally normal. The question is does the phone stutter/lag/or even stop working when doing heavy tasks? If it doesn't then the cooling system is doing a pretty good job.

Blah blah, nor the Poco F1 or old OnePlus phones were flagship killers.
It's time to stop with the BS.

SD 865 is also a year oder then SD888
And SD870 is slightly improved 865

And even 2015 flagships were in the price point of 800 euro and went over 1000 with there pro and max ultra. Even when Oneplus was coming out it price was around 500 euro and it was a flagship kiler cause of a lower price.

Overrated is a simple word but best describes this model. Played Fortnite for 15 min, my left hand was literally numb due to the heat, and the graphic instantly convert the 3d HD game to Minecraft boxy era.
Overall this phone own another word, Sucks! Only good is the 120W..but for 5000mAh I need to charge twice at least a day for normal use, that's hardly a plus point.

this is the same cooling system used in bs4 pro/redmi k40 pro+ the vc size is almost like mi 11 so the cooling system will be like mi 11 is just xiaomi optimized the performance or more directly crippled it to prevent overheat

Dozen ways to avoid overheating, yet it overheats quite a lot. Qualcomm should refund people for this overpriced toaster they made.

Twebi, 11 Oct 2021So why reviewers say the phone gets hot oftenBecause the heat must go somewhere. These components help route the heat, but where do you want to route it inside a phone? It is too small for it to dissipate at the end of its course. The whole thing just ends up unbearably warm.
