Jimmy Potter, 01 Oct 2021Scammers releasing the EXACT same phone with a newer name with higher number. So, does scammers apply to Realme releasing 8 Pro too? That phone is basically a 7 Pro with some upgrades and some downgrades. Just like you said "A newer name with higher number" right?

Is this mobile has google dial-er like redmi note 10 pro has? or its on legacy one that comes with MIUI?
I really don't get why they even decided to do this. The already have 4 variants of the Redmi Note 10. Why rebrand Redmi Note 9 pro?
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2021I doubt that it'll get longer support. The RN9 Pro (Indian) still runs MIUI 12, not MIUI ... moreUsing miui 12.5 in my redmi note 9 pro (Indian). Official ota update, not installed. I don't know why some people doesn't get updates 🙄 may an error in xiaomi's update delivery service or something wrong with your phone.
Since it is a rehash of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, which has LineageOS support, it will as well, which is a good thing, since it means a good budget device will be available whenever the pool of Note 9 Pros runs dry, if you want to degoogle.

Wth, redmi note 10 use AMOLED and sd678 and this redmi note 10 lite use ips and sd720.
This isn't the Global Redmi Note 9 Pro though. It's the Global Redmi Note 9S aka Indian Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Adds one color (that blue one doesn't count, it's been available everywhere) and calls it new phone? Can't beat that low. Why don't they focus on quality and delivering software update instead of smearing the market with the same phone with different names?
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2021I doubt that it'll get longer support. The RN9 Pro (Indian) still runs MIUI 12, not MIUI ... moreI brought a Redmi Note 9pro Max (This is an Indian version and not an International version) just last month for my daughter in UAE.I got a few updates sametime till it was updated to MIUI 12.0.1.0 but nothing much so far after that. Many new Redmi models are getting updated to 12.5.I guess v will still need to wait longer for ours.
Chinese companies have such a fascination with releasing a new phone each week that at this point someone just needs to roundup their CEOs and put them in a mandatory ADHD + OCD group therapy session.
No focus on releasing a few good phones with long term support. And so obsessive to release a new trash phone every few days. But please go ahead and keep strip mining and mass polluting our one home planet.

Xiaomi phone naming is so confusing, they all seem the same. I cannot name a single phone from that company...
Renato Oliveira, 01 Oct 2021Xiaomi seems to be very fond of confusionfollowing in samsung's footsteps
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2021It's the Indian Note 9 Pro. Confusing right??Xiaomi seems to be very fond of confusion

AnonD-1018330, 01 Oct 2021Sorry my bad, same device with 1 year longer software support and a bit lower price*I doubt that it'll get longer support. The RN9 Pro (Indian) still runs MIUI 12, not MIUI 12.5 like other Xiaomi midranges. Even the Note 8 2021 runs MIUI 12.5 out of the box!
