AnonD-940827, 17 Sep 2021Ask all of Asia. You think all of Asia is watching 4k on tiny screen? Even 1080p is more than enough on small device
Hey folks. Are they any better alternatives to the Go Pros that have a larger battery, waterproof, and support 1080p 120fps video recording? I believe the current go pro Hero 10 costs $200, and the 300 extra is for their brand image.

AnonD-940827, 18 Sep 2021And how will you enjoy 5k resolution on your phone? Just wondering. Have I said that I use 5K on a phone ? Nope. I just said that 4K is more future proof that some people think, and the use of 2K on Phone/Computer is a good example.

It's not even 4K but in 1440p, the difference is there :)
Ambarella has had 8k chipsets for years. Fail. Why produce a custom chipset unless you going do it well, and intra. It's behind.
Give me 8k+ for 180 degree+. 16k is coming. Then you can do edited windowed views.

W T F, 17 Sep 2021$500/€580 ??? $500 = €426They stuck the price change a few year back when the EUR was low, adding the import tax and such but that's a rip off, that's for sure.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2021Dang, I can’t keep up with how fast GoPro is releasing new versions.Dang, they are only releasing them yearly. Maybe it’s because I knew the first versions from childhood because they were all cool and YouTube was full of videos from them. dang

Replicant , 17 Sep 2021But why would you watch 4k content on small device in the first place? Ask all of Asia.

More like "can't afford" sounds like "I don't care, I just like to complain about something I do not understand.".

The framerate and bits are more important. Upscale or descale ruins the quality. You actually get better quality by shooting the actual resolution. Upscaling 720p to 1080p costs quality and details. Downscaling 4k to 1080p costs quality and details. Shooting at 1080p and showing in 1080p, gives you the absolutely best quality all around.

why you so triggered for gopros being able to record at a higher resolution? The 4k can be used to create slo-mo shots for 1080p without losing detail
Movie? Bruh can name you a whole TV series which uses plenty of 4k gopro footage, Formula 1: drive to survive
