UFS is just storage interface like eMMC was. It doesn't define or guarantee a certain speed at all. You can use UFS and use it with some garbage NAND that can barely push 1MB/s and it's still be UFS. Hell, you can even use UFS 3.1 and all you did was just provide the best interface possible. It's down to actual NAND that stores the data to make whatever use of UFS interface. Only fortunate thing about it is that it's hard to get garbage NAND these days from reputable vendors like Samsung, Hynix or Micron. Otherwise companies would totally do it because people only look at spec sheets and there it would be highest UFS version possible. No one ever states actual speeds whatever phone does. Even reviews hardly ever mention it really.

Thats a nice way to add some additional wear to the storage. wonder what the user first notices, storage wear or lack of ram. Bbk probably did their research on how to get people to upgrade more often.

There is NO such thing as dynamic ram, using the storage as ram is NOT more ram, main storage is slow and will lag as hell compared to ram, windows have been doing this for over 20 years but you don't see them advertising 16gb ram laptops with 32 gb ram because 16 are virtual.
