Go ahead people, make this nonsensical gimmick underdisplay camera thingy over-hyped and taking up the whole market.
Once you'll realize that :
1) Those phones are sold at a loss for news media reach and advertisement reasons and the tech cost a lot, not just to manufacture but the years worth of expensive R&D and the losses from selling at a loss, and when they'll finally want to get return on investment once the tech is anywhere and no one can escape it, and the phones will suddenly get 300€/$ more expensive, I'll be there laughing.
2) This tech has HARD LIMITS to how much you can improve it, and it will never get a decent RAW quality.
3) Because of point 2, any biometric implemented with it will be disastrous, and it will be funny to watch.
4) There are much better alternatives, but once this tech won't go away, and you'll be the one crying for alternatives to get implemented, I'll remind you all how much you wanted it and was awful to anyone who wanted anything else.
5) This tech is a privacy nightmare and one day, when there will be no coming back, you'll learn the hard, really hard way, that privacy was more important than "bezeless displays" and "front facing cameras".
6) All those early gens UDC care using the users as beta testers that won't ever get the final products, and you are just helping to plant the seeds for more of this practice to be done in the future, which will be even worse on hardware than it already is on software like the hell of early access games.

Supposedly Mediatek is launching a 4nm dimensity 2000 SoC. This is going to be the SD 898 nemesis. Mediatek is going all in big time.
This is huge. And I really wouldn't mind a mediatek 4nm dimensity 2000 powered gaming phone. Honestly. This is amazing. Mediatek are flagship major now.
Qudos to the ZTE under screen tech. Beautiful phone in everyway. This will sell well.
