Old trends come back. In fashion it's something 10-15 years when old clothes are back in. Now seems like with phones also. Back in the day when they were so big that you can use it for either a hammer or to kill someone. Now seems that this is coming back also as they cant make anything small and when it comes to rugged they are already big so let have another 7 inch screen plus large bezel around it.
When construction people who are the main market for these then why these need to be so big ? They have no time to play games on it or do some photoshoots or anything. It's just a tool. Even construction workers cloths pockets are not so large to fit these phones in them. I know it cause i have construction cloths and even my Nokia Lumia 830 was already too big for pants pocket that in sideways went in but getting out was harder and when your in a hurry to answer a call then it's not easy task to get the phone out.
Never mind that the large screens on a phones that have like Helia A22/P22 SE460 and the like make no sense. Even 480 wont make sense as it wont support any good quality camera that is sometimes useful to make a picture of something and then go to shop to buy parts for what ever you need or just need to fix some problem and need a good quality picture that show up the problem.

Nokia hopping on the Rugged Scam Train. A phone with a case - "That'll be an extra $200".
I bet this will cost and perform just like Sammy's A52, that has IP67, but "upgraded" with a glued-on rubber case, an IPS panel, and a garbage tier camera.

And so a weak processor is preferred choice for those phones

rugged phones are not even rugged lol. You put a case on any phone and it becomes a rugged phone. Rest everything is the same even the screen is gorilla glass on both kind of phones. So where do rugged phones stand out ? Even mid range phones come with basic water resistance and a big battery, the features that used to be rugged phone exclusive a few years ago
