LG never afraid of trying new technology and unique design. Dual camera, Dual display with an unique console.
My latest buy is K42, affordable midrange with MIL std, punch hole HD display, NFC at 100$ (7500 INR)
I thought of upgrading to Velvet 5G.
                      Bad luck LG.

Long term LG owner... quiet dissapointed from the Korean company... not only they made few hundred of those but only for inner circle people... not to mention i am angry mostly because they've neglected the EU market so bad for many many years... try finding G8/ G8X V50 .V60 or Wing "EU " models(its full with (US and China and Korea models wich results in my v50 terrible network reception since its U+ variant)... and the 1~3 software updates per year... to me it seems that they never cared much for their smartphone division

Anonymous, 24 Jun 2021I don't think laying off some marketing staff in Europe proves your point about anything.... moreYou clearly do not get my point.

If LG did what Sony did (not just laying off the employees)
                            LG MIGHT have survived.

You also said Sony do not lay off workers but in that article...

LG mobile is history. So its not wise to buy anymore phones at this time unless you are doing it for collection and memorabilia.

There is (hope there was) problem with LG to not to create one product , which is universal all across the Globe Different versions for different countries leading to creation of problems with regard to updates (which of course were hardly coming).
The Creators themselves wanted their product to fail.
Good products but in their Marketing strategy vis-à-vis various regionwise versions killed it.
