LG is becoming apple now, it means that their prices are higher than value that you can get.
One question: If selling MacBook is causing a dispute, then why doesn't LG select another company which doesn't sell laptops? Like Motorola.
Why even bother for Apple which by the way sells overpriced gadgets and accessories, and is basically just another option in developed countries?

I've lived in third world country and people are willing to pay more than 2000 USD for the latest and greatest iPhone. iPhone seen as upper class status, even using iPhone 6, people will associate you for being rich.

But Apple is no brand is just a robbery on a customer a company who loves sympatyzes and do copy paste. They bear nothing trully own and everything including the phone is litterary bought from Foxconn.
And because they have money they can do whathewer they want just to obey any kind of rules laws etc.
They go whathewer they pleases because apple.
To me even the low end brands such as Oukitel, Cherrymobile, CPA, Zopo, Coolpad, Emporia, Gionee, Haier, Kyocera, Parla, Lava, Plum and many else are a lot better.
Thus to my honest opinion.

the my|phone stores in the Philippines partnered with one of the BBK brands and started selling them as any price point that goes over their own, normally they max out at about 5000PHP or 80$ and anything over they now sell China brands. Seems like LG should have taken some wisdom from that and keep selling budget phones under the cheapest iPhone but oh well... :(

GregLu, 18 Jun 2021Because of import tax, right?Well Korea has a 10-20% VAT on all imports (according to trade.gov). Considering that the iPhone SE is $399 (10% being $39.9 and 20% being $79.8), the iPhone SE price there could be $438.90 to $478.8.
i dont have much knowledge on this topic, i am probably not taking some things into account for the price but that is my calculation there.
