Sorry, but from the pictures that shows inside of the phone, it looks no different from regular chinese feature phone from early days. Nokia, Samsung, even Sony ericsson or Motorola feature phone still has better design and component than Dizo phone.

But in recent years these button phones downgrade software wise, and it's not suprise even sales did go down.

When kai os were released lot of people bought them and feature phone sales did go up for a moment but now it went down again.

There is Huge demand for these smart feature phones in East, place like Africa, Indian sub continent, Sea countries etc.

Japan Alone few years Ago smartphone managed to outsell feature phones, and until today smart feature phones are still popular there.

2G only? In 2021? We had 3G feature phones even before smartphones existed. With many countries ditching 2G already, releasing a 2G only phone is insulting, especially when 4G feature phones exist.

If you need apps there's a million different Android phones, even some stripped ones with Android Go, so you really have a choice.

I could not care less about social media, youtube, spotify or gaming on my phone. My destop can run laps around any phone or game console, I have my own place with my own TV to watch stuff on a good screen. I have sufsace pro with LTE if i want internet/computing on the go. My phone is just to drive my smartwatch, long calls, long texts or long email. I may ok up something use it if i really need to lookup something while shopping but, I never really need to do so.

Plus, income varies from country to country. In some places land lines stopped being reliable or accessible late 70s esrly 80s.

But what I meant is form factor, these phones had dual slider, left side you get media buttons and right side navigation buttons, when you use it in landscape mode you can play any retro games like handheld console,
