It does as does every other encoding as it increases in complexity.
Even Sony mentions that in their support page - AAC vs LDAC battery life ... look it up.

i prefer buying poco f3 for that price !As a poco f3 owner, i don't think I'll be buying the f3 if i could afford the sony earbuds lol. We're just not the target demographic, they're targeting either the mid-high audio segment or people who doesn't really care about pricing if it's for audio.
audio equipment can get REALLY expensive real fast for the higher end ones, so these Sonys might actually be a bargain if the last gen is anything to go by.

This is better than Samsung buds pro, 360 audio is only limited to latest Samsung flagship does not work on older Samsung phones and non-Samsung devices. That's why Samsung sucks, and WF-1000XM4 is king and future proof for all Android users.

Battery times are probably not with ldac, but I like improvement anyway. Hopefully it beats the likes of nura, oppo, apple or Bose, which got sightly better anc than xm3. From those nuraloop for wire option and oppo enco x got ldhc, which support is a wonder. Ldac tws only Sony I think.
