Android (and pixels specifically, are being the crop of the crop) lot of customization without the need of being Jailbroken, so many things can be done with a pixel phone you can't with and i'bubble...

Meh, if they underdisplay cameras are going to be released later this year in the the next phones including Pixel 7, there is no way i can consider invest a cent in phones this year. I'll wait for the clean displays without cuts.

3a was helping a lot.
In 2020 , final forecast was lower than 2 million units.
Pixel 5 and 4a 5G are not doing well.
Obviously a complete flagship for $1000-1200 has more chance to sell the amount expected than upper midrange for $600-750.
Because you can get a flagship from previous year for similar price , but much better phone.

Everything up to now is here say, and guesses. If the design of the phone holds up to release, and it gets the Whitechapel chip then I'll have been proven wrong, but for people to say " it's the best designed phone of the year" is presumptuous at best. If Google is indeed bringing back an "XL" version, I'll be getting it as my beloved Pixel 4 was the best phone I've ever owned. The battery size not withstanding.

If they cant make chin any smaller than make top bezel equivalent, have a good quality speaker on top and make it symmetrical

Since the lower pricing and the lower chip sets, the Pixel lines sells better than ever before. Also the entry level Pixel phones give sales a boost. Before that, the overpriced Pixel phones never sold well. Design of Pixel phones has never been my favourite but the Pixel 6 looks pretty nice.

At this point, GN2 may be already "public " portfolio.
It is expected vivo x70 pro/pro+ to use it.
I heard the rumor of gn2 back in April.
