      -viber, facebook
      - webbrowsing
      - banking apps
      - photo, camera app
      I woul not use for gaming

        Harryh, 21 May 2021The 780g is built on 5nm and 778 on 6 nm so there is a difference and the 5nm is more efficientYeah, maybe if it was Samsung's 6nm vs 5nm, but this is TSMC's 6nm vs Samsung's 5nm.

                              Hopefully this will have lower power consumption vs Samsung 5N (Samsung always up to 30% higher power consumption vs TSMC on the same node)

                                TSMC's 6nm on Qualcomm's for the first time...
                                It's nearly a copy of 780G!
                                Is it a way to limit availability of Dimensity 900, 1100, 1200 based on the same process?

                                I won't be surprised if it's the case.

Plus, not everyone just wants gaming performance. Imagine that some people think of other aspects other than raw performance.

                                    Have anyone worked out what is the cost savings between the two and how much battery saving you get between 6nm and 5nm process? I know there increase in transitor density but how much battery life saving benefits consumers.
