The periscope on the honor 30 and honor 30 pro costs more to replace than the imx600y main sensor. Must cost a thing of nothing to throw on a 2mp macro or depth sensor.

notafanboy, 17 May 2021Anyone else wanna vomit when reading about phones with 2+2MP sensors?Don't know about vomiting but it is disappointing. Last year brands like Xiaomi and Honor had 3x or even periscope 5x zoom lenses on their midrangers (Redmi 10xpro and Honor 30s with 3x and Mi 10 youth and Honor 30 with 5x periscopes). This year, it's just macros. Not a very good trend

Last year Xiaomi and Honor gave 3x telephoto lens (Redmi 10x pro and honor 30s) or even 5x periscopes (mi 10 youth and honor 30) on midrangers. This year it's macros at best and only 8mp ultrawides too
