r33fd, 02 Apr 2021That's horrible news. Hopefully pixel does not end up like HTC Sales of Pixel increase every year.
And money earned is more than expected.
Google plans to sell Pixel in more markets.

If its like exynos its gonna be trash it will have midrange performance except if its like the 2021 exynos 2100 wich is for the first time not 40% less (after throttling), but now its closer to the sd variant wich is great, finally not bad battery life, bad heating or bad performance from samsung

as long as its a decent chip i dont care, doesnt have to be flagship. I just want a better design than thick bezels and punch hole display.

joe nodden, 02 Apr 2021Overpriced crapdragon? Are you insane? Since when have Exynos SoCs been in cheaper, better per... moreYeah lol , that's true, especially in 2020 and before the difference is like comparing a flagship with a midrange (exynos)
There was a huge huge difference more than 20% and after throttling, it just gets bigger and bigger it throttles too much and heat while playing high end games too much,
A 1 year old samsung flagship with exynos is not better at all than a 2 or even 3 years old flagship if we take the throttling into consideration
Also the difference in battery before this year was 20%
While the sd version has 20% in battery the exynos is 0%

4K recording demands much more from hardware than games.

Samsung doesn't even release their Exynos variant flagships at lower prices than their Qualcomm variant ones, despite them performing worse.

Knowing Google, that will mean perfect optimization for their devices. I'm excited to see what they'll come up with.
