Anonymous, 18 Mar 20213 major OS updates are only for the S and Note series. A series are still getting 2 major updates. Samsung promises 3 years of OS updates for A series.

Will buy something new end of this year... maybe a A82 even.

But Samsung should release Snapdragon powered flagships everywhere around the globe. This exynos powered Samsung flagship sucks. Atleast toned down flagship which is FE or Lite should come with three cameras and snapdragon powered chipset(I won't mind snapdragon 765G/775G/855+/865+) under 450-500USD range. This is sweet spot for them. No more Exynos chipset for flagships. Use them for A series if you want to. Or give them to Vivo/Oppo.

It was a mid-range chipset back in the day, and while nowadays is probably low-end, it's still fast enough and adequate. Though, I don't play heavy games in my phone.
I also have Oppo A37 with SD 430 from 2016, it was a low-end chip back then, and still quite alright nowadays in 2021, although you can notice bits of lag.
So yeah, I think mid-range chips like Snapdragon 730 and similar chipsets (SD 720G and 732G) can hold on for a long time.

Or something like SD860 or SD870 from newer generation.

wow, i love the fact that these popular, verified, and a lot of comments with a lot of upvotes people are pretty much complaining, arguing about phone cameras not being close enough to a dslr. meanwhile those people who have 10 flagships in front of their faces always go and argue about these phones. i swear they are kids who are rich and spoiled or just rich manchildren arguing here in this comment section.

Seems like an interesting product at a good price! Hopefully main camera is decent.
If not, hopefully they'll introduce A72 5G or A82 5G or A92 5G with better cameras.
