But i find ios nothing special except something minor thing that more convenient to user but nothing really exclusive. ( nothing realy superior)The only bad thing is the battery life very bad and with every update sure find some way for getting more battery drain . so many update is also no good thing. the battery drain really make it unuseable. Comment from me as previous ios user or as second standby phone

Fearghast, 15 Mar 2021I am an Apple user and I feel limited.It is very limited unlike Bose Home Speaker 500 or Similar products come with far superior sound quality with rich bass, wireless streaming from any account like Spotify or Amazon Music or Bluetooth or Airplay. It can be paired with Bluetooth Cable Set Top Box as TV speaker though it may not sound like typical external TV speakers but you get my point on versatility....Home Pod is very very limited

Like you say, its an Apple accessory that specialised as a homehub device (other being iPad / Apple TV). It have synergy with AirPlay 2, it can connect to other home hub speakers multi-room via Airplay 2.
It works with Apple only, like many of Apple features, like Airdrop, Continuity, CarPlay.. People still use iPhones regardless.

It does not even "work better with apple products", It !only! works with Apple products :D
There is not even BT or analogue audio option and I do not feel like limiting your media playback equipment in this way is a smart choice.

You know, his comment was probably referring to your lack of experience when it comes to speakers.
Homepods sounds good, but they are less than average for the sound quality you get for the money (same goes for Sony. I don't have a clue how anyone can use them as an example of "better sound").
For the price of those speakers, you can get pretty damn good near fields and even if they would not have wireless capability, you just add something like FiiO BTA30 to the mix. and you still get a cheaper, better sounding solution (not to mention zero latency via cable).

Its 101 eco... moreyes all make profit but every body know apple average selling price is the highest.... just take i phone 12 pro max 512 ( any phone more exp? material cost?) and apple TV 4k (compare to android TV box).
Of course a company making huge profit , good future outlook and make good technology for future(tesla) will increase in market value and share. if a company in red and doom outlook in future will the share and market value increase? please be a pro and not a sheep.

As usual apple only sell brand logo and most people buy is girls that not use phone feature most and only care about showing the apple logo.
Thus it is surprising samsung xiaomi always compare spec with apple not sure for what, like 60hz, small battery capacity, small resolution only 1080, battery drain become more serious with increasing software update, processor speed too.
they must compare to other android and MUST remember apple only sell logo and nothing else. so compare for what. everyone know apple spec is to the lower side.

As usual apple only sell brand and most that buy are girls. The biggest mistake is this pod cannot bring outside cannot show the apple logo. If use inside house most will use cheaper item. Apple should make more product that can show the brand logo.

After all, for most people, since it's just a speaker, as long as it emits sound and works, it's good. Spending $200 for "just" a speaker is too much for most people. Besides, sound quality isn't easily discernible to many.
