The Mi 11 has 580hz touch sample rate
Kev, 09 Mar 2021I can't shake off the feeling that no Android games support 1000hz touch sampling rate.
... moreTouch with sampling rate is different from screen refresh rate.
Game support is based on screen refresh rate.
Higher Touch sampling rate makes the game experience even better, not to forget the overall touch experience of the OS.
XiaomiSamsungHuawei, 09 Mar 2021k lol u probably never tried a good android phone i actually think its true since i have tried iphone 12, its more responsive
I can't shake off the feeling that no Android games support 1000hz touch sampling rate.
But that's for now; New generation games and future updates will definitely support these crazy high touch sampling rates soon.
Anonymous, 09 Mar 2021Unnecessary since Android itself has bad touch latency compared to iOSagreed , and ios zuckz ✌

Barry Egan, 09 Mar 20211000hz touch sampling rate on an android device !! for what ?????Unnecessary since Android itself has bad touch latency compared to iOS
1000hz seems like a fake number.. or misleading at best.. arbitrary jump to 1000.. just to say 1000
Anonymous, 09 Mar 2021LOL, that battery should be enough for whole 2 hours of usage, maybe even more. How cool is that?I think you're super ultra pro heavy user you need 20K mah battery

For example I am using a IPad Air 1 its touch sampling rate is bad so when I type a sentence the sentence usually gets registered 10 seconds after I touch so it is important I think 1000hz is overkill on a phone I think
Bro it’s for gamers to the best edge if anyone uses this phone for gaming he will win 5/10 times (not including internet delay and high ping)
why 1000hz touch sampling rate? couldn't they adjust it at least to 240hz or 365hz? that's so much jeez.
LOL, that battery should be enough for whole 2 hours of usage, maybe even more. How cool is that?
Calibrating each screen individually? As in a person testing each screen to make sure the colors are accurate?
I think 1000Hz touch-sampling is the only stand-out feature of this device. The rest of the specs are standard.
What is touch sample rate?
Is it actually useful or gimmick?
Does increasing it reduce Touch latency?
