Waiting for a true review from gsmarena)
In Mi 11 they downgraded the sound. Let's see what's in Mi 10s. If it is at the level of Mi 10 Pro - excellent

YUKI93, 09 Mar 2021Is this the alleged Mi 10 v2.0? Considering how hot the new Mi 11 with the new SD 888 chipset,... moreMy only gripe with it is the camera module design. Looks even stranger than the Mi 11's.
Is this the alleged Mi 10 v2.0? Considering how hot the new Mi 11 with the new SD 888 chipset, I can see a lot of people would consider this new hardware update.
LFayez, 08 Mar 2021its disappointing not see any camera upgrade, the ultrawide senor really needed an update. It... moreTrue, but the new camera tech will be on mi11 pro which will be a lot more expensive (Probably 4,999rmb upwards). If the price of the mi10s is significantly cheaper it could make a good alternative to the mi11 for many as the mi11's camera was no upgrade over the mi10 and the battery life took a hit. Only the screen and weight were really improved from the mi10. If it's priced around 3,299-3499 then it's also a good alternative to the k40 pro as at the camera on the k40 pro is weak for the price
beep bop boop, 08 Mar 2021i want a pixel 5, would you recommend it?It really depends on your personal use, I don't use my smartphone a lot except for some videocalling, but I take many photos so it's the perfect phone for me, I also like its compact feel and the software is super clean.

notafanboy, 08 Mar 2021you're just upset because your favorite phones get bad rankings on dxomark. HahaahaI own a Pixel 5 and I'm not a fanboy of Samsung, but Dxo lost their credibility maybe because they actualy tested with very old camera firmware, and it was so biased per example S21U have 3x and 10x zoom, so they tested 2.5x and 8x right on the weak points...
LFayez, 08 Mar 2021its disappointing not see any camera upgrade, the ultrawide senor really needed an update. It... moreProbably because the vanilla series focus on performance, audio and display? That's why they offer the pro series for the cameras upgrade
TECH--BEAST, 08 Mar 2021Don't worry...the phone overall won't impress cuz it's coming with useless 2MP ... moreTHIS! I'm real tired of those dumbass macro/depth sensors. It's not just that they're useless and take the space that could be used for e.g. bigger battery, they look idiotic as well - they are basically an equivalent of slapping an Apple logo on a 80$ Doogee phone. It doesn't fool anyone and it's embarrassing.
If I were buying a phone with those stupid 2MP sensor and there would be an option to pay 10% extra price for the same phone WITHOUT these two sensors, I would go for it, just so that I don't have that "look at me I'm an idiot who bought this phone because it has many cameras" trash on it.
Camera sensor is same, but maim camera lens get an upgrade to ASPH lens(same to the one on Mi11)
its disappointing not see any camera upgrade, the ultrawide senor really needed an update.
Its not fair to keep using this humble sensor in flagships ( mi10 , mi10s , mi11 ).
Even the 2019 midrange "mi note 10" had a better ultrawide sensor.
Anonymous, 08 Mar 2021Why? Xiaomi Why? Why named this Mi 10S? Why not named this as Mi 11 lite? Confusing nami... moreBecause it's likely to be almost the same phone as the mi10 with a snapdragon 870 replacing the 865 and a different rear panel. Screen and cameras are rumoured to be the same as the mi10. Very minimal changes if the leaks are correct
