I really want to get my hands on a Smartisan phone, they have some amazing technology including a 3D desktop similar to Dex on Samsung and Huawei phones.

Previous FlymeOS visuals were slick, intuitive, and gorgeous. They were unique and probably the best implementation of AndroidOS outside of a Stock build.
        Now?
It feels dull like it's lost it's soul and it's much more cluttered. Looks similar to what LG and Samsung's UI, almost to the point of being a copy-cat. And don't get me started on their WatchOS, which didn't even attempt a circular face, they straight copied Apple's rectangular shape and feel. How the mighty have fallen.

Meizu, your company has problems. But those were not because of your OS unique looks. It was that your phones had very limited 3G-4G bands (China only, no Worldwide support), they were difficult to import (unlike Xiaomi), and while your updates were real and big (unlike fake Xiaomi) there were very sparse updates for even your top-end devices. If you fixed those three things, sent a thousand review units around, and did some guerilla marketing.... you would have increased sales a lot. Now you will continue on your path, and get obscured into extinction like so many other brands.

As good as Flyme looks (it reminds me of ZenUI, but without all the useless crap on it), Meizu update record is pretty bad. Even their flagships rarely get an Android upgrade

No word on Android update and 16 series are still on Android 8, insane.
