I hope they make the modems slightly or significantly smaller with the SoC or even better, integrate the thing into the SoC itself, that way we can conserve space and power too? maybe? They should also really make the modems power efficient too.

So...am I reading correctly that this modem will have mmWave integrated so it's not a separate part anymore? I really hope so...that way, the US versions of these phones don't be super different because of mmWave...

What a joke, now you can get 5g on midrange phones. 5g is reserved for Snapdragon 8 series only.
Once you have 5g on midrange, 5g becomes congested just like what happened to 4g.
