Nokia launches its mediocre phones at very high prices in india some of which have came with series hardware and software issues in past. So naturally sales doesn't pick up.
Later After 5-7 months they try to sell it at heavy discounts but till that time competition comes with new and better models so again sales doesn't pick up. This is The story of Nokia in india so far.
