The iPad mini is the perfect size. Not too big not too small. You can use it without feeling the uncomfortable size of an iPad or iPad Pro. Don’t have the latest model yet but researching it. I don’t need a big screen on my phone I use it as a phone. When I read something or want to watch a video or movie the mini is the perfect size. If I want to watch a movie with friends or family we have several TVs in the house. I have two MacBooks, 2 9.7 inch iPads. And several iPhones. My go to favorite is the mini!

Punch hole for camera seems reasonable, but holy crap for touch id?! Did apple makes up their mind when desiging this?!!

Wouldn’t be surprised if Apple actually makes this, because they’re known for making hideous ugly design choices such that those fugly antenna lines and camera bump on the iPhone 6/6s, bathtub sized notch on recent iPhones that could land an Airbus A380 on it, or that unsightly Airpods Max case that’s better off being sold on a lingerie store.

It was the one of the biggest inventions of apple. Everybody likes to have something new but it was the benchmark for easy usage and impossible to improve further. Hope they understood their mistake

I've been holding my money for iPad mini 6 but if it will have any eyesore notch/punch hole on its screen, I'm not getting it. Don't do it, Apple pleeease

It wouldn't make any sense for Apple to redesign iOS for one iPad which also propably won't enjoy much sales. This would also mean developers would have to make two version of their apps and games so there wouldn't be any navigation buttons under the big punch hole.
I'm surprised someone here actually believe this stuff without thinking it at all :D

If the home button finger reader is really a hole and not under display or on the power button akin to the air, this is going to be the biggest mistake they've made on the iPad lineup. I am on the 5 and would never upgrade for slightly bigger screen at the cost of a dual asymmetrical punch holes. I'd much rather the new rumoured base ipad on the air 3 chassis with laminated screen. As long as the base storage is also 64.
