Rectangles galore.
What the point of releasing this phone if the chipset is not flagship? Shaming the poco F1 legacy. Better rename it to Poco F2 Lite 2MP+2MP Ultra Trash and change the processor to Mediatek 6582 or better Marvell PXA1088 chipset.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2021But amoled will introduce burn in, higher battery consumption, worse colour accuracy, lower re... moreYeah, but that's nitpicking. That's not what average consumers are doing. And that's not what Poco is doing. The average consumers just use phones normally. And when used normally, OLED will be superior in their eyes as opposed to LCDs. Brighter, better viewing angles, less shadowing, no blacky areas, better colours and contrast. That's instantly noticeable. The problems you mentioned needs nitpicking to be able to see thoseBut if you are the one who prefers LCD, there are lots of option.
AnonD-923722, 01 Jan 2021Or, maybe an 60hz OLED. Since that will enable less shadowing, better contrast better colours,... moreBut amoled will introduce burn in, higher battery consumption, worse colour accuracy, lower resolution because it has less subpixels, flickering, oversaturated images, less durable, causes headaches to people with sensitive eyes, expensive to repair
The poco f2 pro had a 60hz oled screen, while the f2 gets a 120hz oled screen? They should've just named it f3, this is way too confusing
All good, but no more 2*2 cameras , please!
I think they should take notes from realme x3 and price it same as before but with single punch hole or pop up bigger battery and better design rest can be same
Davy Jones, 01 Jan 2021So it's a rebranded poco x3😂Yup, with an new design, smaller battery, better screen, but more expensive. This isn't like the original Poco, whoch focuses more on performance and battery
AnonD-923722, 01 Jan 2021Stupid choice. I would rather trade the 120hz amoled eith 732G for an 865/ 888 chip with 120h... moreOr, maybe an 60hz OLED. Since that will enable less shadowing, better contrast better colours, better viewing angles, brighter, thinner design for more battery. But i doubt that, since Poco focuses more on performance, which meanz 120hz is an must for them. But, what's the point of an 120hz of the 732G can't run 120fps??? Unless Poco decides to use an 8 series chip and 120hz oled, but that seems unlikely, since that will either make the price too high or make them cut other features such as design, build quality, cameras, speakers, and other features
AnonD-923722, 01 Jan 2021Stupid choice. I would rather trade the 120hz amoled eith 732G for an 865/ 888 chip with 120h... moreCool story, bro.
Stupid choice. I would rather trade the 120hz amoled eith 732G for an 865/ 888 chip with 120hz lcd. This isn't The real Poco. Poco focus on what matters and performance. With the F2 Pro, they focus on things that are useless (5G, gimmick cameras, 8K, glass back, big thick body, amoled). Why not just build an direct sucessor to the Poco F1, with :
1. 120hz lcd ips with no issues
2. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+/ 888
3. Liquid cooling
4. Matte plastic back and frame
5. 5000mah battery with 33W in box charger
6. 12 MP dual cameras wide + ultrawide with AF
7. Stereo speakers and good enoigh haptics
8. Miui 12.5
Price : below $350. It will be super killer. Even the Poco F2 Pro costs below $399 now. So maybe the price of this phone could be lower.
Snapdragon 732??
It's not an upgrade over Snapdragon 845.
It should be at least Snapdragon 777 or 788
Or dimensity 1000+
