According to the Senior Director of Samsung Electronics, Mark Norton, speaking to the BBC's technology programme, Click, during CES 2021, Samsung hasn't yet made a decision about releasing the Note in 2021.

Whichever has an S-pen and the biggest* screen is the one I buy. I don't care what they call it. I might go fold if it has S-pen support and the literal and figurative kinks have been worked out.
* widest in portrait orientation; 16:9 aspect would be ideal but I won't hold my breath

yea, 17 Dec 2020I hope Note 21 will be a Note with an UDC so I have a reason to update my 2 years old Samsung.no under display camera, that just sounds stupid. The iris scanner is worth far more than that barely extra screen. And put the fingerprint sensor on the rear, or make the fingerprint sensor work with a normal screen protector (the screen protectors look horrible with the fingerprint sensor area being slimmer).
Of course bring back the IR port and 3.5mm if it will fit.

First it was the battery issue, then it was th... moreSame can be said about the S series, which dropped the headphone jack first, moved to plastic back first (which makes sense to everyone but fashionistas), and always had the slower of the two chips and the lower tech screen in any given year.

The actual Note series died some years ago.... moreThe Note has always had a better processor, N20U > S20U , N10U > S10, N9 >>> S9.
It has 'literally' never been the same as an S. And that's the whole point of them, so Samsung can tick-tock update features between the two platforms and brung out the
latest tech twice a year instead of just once.

Almost everything was onboard. He was fast, bigger, bolder, had infrared,, better camera, faster processor, more ram,... I gladly paid more money because it was a just a better machine. Now it's a s serie with a pen, no jack, no infrared, no bells or whistles just a slightly bigger screen and a lot of money more.

The actual Note series died some years ago.... moreCare to explain. From what I see spec wise (aside from the actual appearance of the phone) is that the Note series has subtle differences.
The Note series is the better option, though more expensive.

I have been a Note users since the first phone ! Didn't upgrade each generation though, cause I don't like to bother to sell my old phone.
So many compagny starting to ship phone with pen support... I'd like apple does the same with their high end iphone... moving to xiaomi H4H4 !
