Anonymous, 13 Dec 2020Land Rover ? Why name a phone afer an unreliable brand like that !that phone was actually kinda cool.
Water- and shockproof
Pretty dope. Nowadays all I see is just rectangular slabs with similar rears. Nothing that stands out. Every brand just copying competitors. Nothing new. No originality. That's why I have decided not to burn money by frequent upgrading phones. The max I'll use my phone is upto 2 years.
Land Rover ? Why name a phone afer an unreliable brand like that !
Phones these days are boring af. The old phones even if feature phones, were far more interesting then the junk we have today
YUKI93, 13 Dec 2020Just a matter of time before Mrwhosetheboss get those phones and unbox it.More likely MrMobile [Michael Fisher], with his YouTube series about old phones: "When Phones Were Fun". Way better than Mrwhosetheboss.
Retro Days, how things have moved on,good article tho 🤳
In a similar vein. Porsche had branded Blackberry phones which were more expensive than the standard BB10 phones at the time. Internally, they used the same components, software, and screens, but had larger more bold housing and a more angled, flashy design. They also sold for about 3-4x the price of a BlackBerry 10 phone, which was already expensive compared to Android offerings at the time.
I say similar vein, because the Porsche who was lending his name to BlackBerry wasn’t affiliated with the car company as most people would believe, but was actually a guy who was descended from the Porsches of old, who had wealth in his own right from his family inheritance, but had nothing to do with the modern car company.
