And this is why, not content with gifting the world with Corona Virus, China is also hell bent on stealing as much data as possible. There's a reason these rubbish Chinese phones are dirt cheap, and that's because the user is the product.

Hardly surprising. Most, if not all, Chinese phone companies are like this. Even the big ones e.g. Xiaomi, Huawei, etc. Same story with apps developed be Chinese companies.
Better stick to Samsung, Apple, Sony, LG, Htc for a trustworthy experience

I love their phones, they come with theirs pre-installed apps you can always remove if you want. Removing their app and install another free app that also show you ads is pointless. I trust more Xiaomi official apps and not some other random app you can find on the Google Play Store.

Thats exactly why I stay away from cheap Chinese brands. The low price isn't worth it. I prefer big names like Samsung or LG.

Xiaomi have ads and I dont mind having them. Showed on their pre-installed apps only and you can always remove them if you want and install any other app. That other app/non Xiaomi app would also have ads so no point complaining... Just enjoy! :)
