Micromax has chosen really neat features for the series defining its comeback. Love that they are keeping it affordable and have included gaming as well with Mediatek Helio G processor.

Afaik, huawei is not the company that likes ODM phones. Micromax made a deal with huawei few months back to sell their phones in india + the fact that you simply can't build a phone from scratch without china getting involved in it. Even apple can't do that. Since huawei can't make their processors anymore, MTK is the most logical supplier for them (https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/25/huaweis-orders-of-mediatek-chips-reported-to-have-increased-by-300/) their EV is a chinese rebrand too. Micromax is a company run by scamsters and I don't have an iota of faith in them (https://www.motorbeam.com/revolt-rv-400-clone-is-super-soco-chinese-bike/)

SMH, Micromax at it again (for the uninformed,... moreother than the x pattern in the back it dont look like any honor phone at all. Even the camera design is different than what the honor series have, also honor uses kirin chipset not MTK chipset.

With this they get access to Google and some licensing money. Until Huawei can figure out how to use GMS, no one in India is buying their phones.... I'd buy the heck out of Micromax if they could rebrand a mate 40 pro with a sd865/875 and price it below 800 bucks, until then, they are no different than any Chinese manufacturer
