Realme is a good brand and it has emerged beautifully in the smart home space with flagship-feature TVs & impressive technologies like SLED, the pricing is decent
Apparently in markets like India you can sell any product if you keep the price dirt cheap and add a lot of fancy words in the advertisement. Reliability/quality isn't much appreciated there as it seems.
The irony is just sometime back they were boycotting Chinese products :D
I'd love a 43 inch TV in 4k with 120hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 and DP2.0 (which is very unlikely - DP in a TV). I don't mind if it has exactly zero smarts and doesn't work as a TV but instead is a "dump" monitor as long as it costs under $800.
This will definitely enhance the Smart Tv experience of users to a huge extent.
The features definitely looks cool and I like that they added the 100W sound bar as well.
The Quad Stereo Speakers onboard with Dolby Audio and the integration of the MediaTek chipset at its core as the support platform makes for a powerful combination of a base for a Smart TV.
Ram and memory are too low... Phones now a days need minimum 4gb ram... Assuming u will be using this TV as smart guess you need more...
Anonymous, 07 Oct 2020No i kept it on a chair, while cleaning the main table where it usually takes on. At night ... moreDamn, that's unfortunate. At least u can get a new TV now
Electric toothbrush? I don't get why they're making this but it does look decent.
SuuperBaka, 07 Oct 2020Did you smash your TV lol?
I do wish that I could order this to my country, but its gonna ... moreNo i kept it on a chair, while cleaning the main table where it usually takes on.
At night when I woke up to drink water I tried to switch on the tubelight and then tragic incident happened.
As I told my hands away from the switch, I accidentally tripped the top portion of the TV which was sitting on the chair and then I head a loud thud on the floor.
I panicked and switched on the light, and then saw two huge cracks in the display, and no visible content :(
The tv segment from many of these Chinese companies has become like an assembly shop. Buy the panel from somewhere, the speakers from somewhere else, put the Google TV (probably from some experience they have from phones) and sell it as a fancy, flashy package at cheap prices. Wonder where is the innovation and reliability of real TVs, for example, of Samsung, Sony, LG, Philips.
Yet more unwanted cheap quality cra_p from realme.
Jojo, 07 Oct 2020Sony did SLED years ago ans called it Trilumimous. It was decent, but QD was cheaper.bizarre adventiure?
Well I would rather buy Samsung LG Sony TVs instead

I do wish that I could order this to my country, but its gonna be hard to find a place that does it and probably gonna be super expensive

I know this is a cheap and small-sized soundbar speaker setup, but a "subwoofer" that only goes down to 50 Hz? That's not exactly a subwoofer.... 20 Hz minimum or preferably below that is what a subwoofer can do. Makes a big difference with movies especially. :)
