BlackBerry 10 OS is QNX, QNX is the OS that is being developed by Blackberry and used in autonomous cars i.e driverless due to NOT being hackable like Android.
Those of you with BlackBerry 10 devices are not hacked despite no updated for 4 or 5 years
With the monthly security patches Android is exposed and vulnerable.
My point is the most secure OS is strictly for cars.
A BlackBerry phone on Android, US just another Android, there won't be a massive move back from IOS or Android to get another Android.
App developers follow the market, URL can be pinned to the home page if BlackBerry relaunched BlackBerry BB 20 let's call it
Android started out small to become the dominant OS
All this is doing is another Android player, in an Android pool instead of BlackBerry.
I bet there are many manufacturers who would prefer not to release 12 monthly patches a year

still love the Z10 and Z30.....
BB OS 10 had great potential (I've been a beta tester) and BB Messenger was great....,but of course Blackberry had ridiculous market share...
hope they will not use an hardware keybord though,their software keyboard was the best

Excellent, another e-Junk from Foxconn will be out but with BlackBerry branding. I hope modders will be able to change it back and forth to Nokia/Sharp/BB UI.

Like Blackberry's usual habits, the latest devices (Priv, Key) were under-powered and overpriced.
