Security experts have been talking about this since their inception.
Guys like Snowden and others have already warned the public how Facebook, Twitter and others are surveillance companies masquerading themselves at social media companies.

Besides, I use degoogled Android and protect my phone where data collection or spying is a distant dream. Same cannot be said about you.
