At first I was all-in because it is in-fact the best gaming phone and I admire Asus but because of the extreme price I had switched my gaming onto a 10.1 tablet and the L & R Bumper Triggers (touchscreen points) are comfortably adable onto the screen itself. No more need for rog in my case anymore but amazing job on those phones esp with the fan attachment. A+

I'm very happy with my Rog phone 2. Can't wait till I get this new Rog phone 3. All works great and battery life is excellent.

Well I got the blackshark 3 and all I can say is I don't think too many people will be getting this phone it's going to cost too much I got the 12gb 256 gig internal memory for just under 700 dollhairs or dollhers which ever floats your boat. Epic phone

annoying customer, 03 Jul 2020Yes you do better cooling then slim laptop and get more work done without heating problem You forgot the dedicated GPU? And I mean, it's hard to construct a thin gaming laptop with good cooling because such GPU consumes a lot of power and emits a lot of heat. Even Max-Q series Geforce GPU from Nvidia still eats a lot of power. There are very limited options, usually costing a lot. Dell XPS 17 (GTX 1650 Max-Q), Razer Blade Stealth 13, etc.

In the era of 1000+ dollar smartphones, the featured packed ROG Phone 3 may make a hell lot of sense. At least it won't compromise display and performance for dumb battery life (carry a powerbank in your bag, guys) or weight (which makes little sense strapping 50g+ cases on 200g phones)
I am too personally waiting for Zenfone 7. I'm assuming it is delayed because of the horrible reception received by SD765 (rightly so) which they were probably gonna use. If a delay means Mediatek Dimensity, SD855+ or some future SD7xx SoC, the delay may be worth it.

I would normally be excited to see this because that means the ROG Phone 2 should get cheaper...
However it's actually hard to find the phone.
I never liked the jump from 128gb to 512gb of storage. I feel that 128gb really isn't enough, yet half a terabyte (and even the 1tb model) is far too much, especially compared to the expected life expectancy of that phone.
