Isn't this an accurate representation of what I am going thru. I have the j7 2016. Great budget phone of its time. I am in the market for a new phone, one that can give me great video/movie consumption and lag free smooth extreme pubg experience with oled. But all the offerings lack some detail or the other that makes me wanna just wait for that perfect budget phone that no brand seems to be producing nowadays :(

Poco F-series was replaced by Redmi K-series. There is no meaning to Poco now. And Poco F1 was, in my opinion, the most interesting device produced in the last five years.
And to those who desire a 60hz LCD screen in 2020, go buy an old phone. There is absolutely no reason for you to buy a new device. Asus Zenfone 6 comes to my mind. The upgrade in screens is the most significant advancement in 2020, with battery sizes being the second. No one cares about gimmicky 65W charging that is a few few minutes faster than trusted 27W. Camera advancements were all last year, it's just a rat race now. And Processor? You mean a processor that requires you to shell out double the money and a processor that performs and costs like a 2 year old one, and a whole brand we all expected to compete that has subpar ISPs so no one wants to use them.
I've been waiting more than an year for a phone with OLED 90hz+ screen, SoC better than SD845 and a freaking SDcard for a reasonable price (below $400). I even gave up on headphone jack. I want a media consumption smartphone, is it so difficult to produce! All we've got in the recent years were the LG V-series. Heck, with despair I had to buy a V40 for $300 a few months ago but it had a faulty screen. Tough luck!
I use my phone as a media consumption device. My256GB sdcard on current phone is almost full, and I have to use wonky otg pendrives. My only hope is to wait for some future rare SD678, SD690 device that the manufacturer considers budget enough to slap an sdcard slot on.

Are there any universities offering a PhD or M Phil in Xiaomi's branding and naming strategies? There is no other way of keeping up. Besides, after the fabulous F1, can't understand why Xiaomi is ruining a fine legacy. Guess the F1 was mere fluke put together by a genius or a genius team who no longer work in the company.

The Poco brand means nothing anymore. The one and only truly great phone that brand every produced was the F1. Ever since then, it's nothing but rebrand after rebrand. Why not call a spade a spade these days and have Xiaomi admit that Poco is simply the global versions of its Redmi series of phones?

Redmi note 9 pro? Really? I don't get this.. Isn't it already available.. only diff bw global note 9pro and Indian version are downgraded camera and slightly faster charging... Rebranding the same model again and again? Same path Samsung once took and failed... Remember Galaxy j2 prime? Atleast 4 models was launched back then.
