now they don't have any number for 600 series they will come up with another name for it , but 695 can still be used tough

the spec is good much more like 700 series gen successor , in return the snapdragon 775g should be a real beast looking at this chipset. I'm thinking this or 695 will be last 600 series and they will put 700 series as midranger chipset as you know most mid level phones came with 700 series snapdragon nowadays, opposite of 600 series years ago

They actually put an a77 core, even before a 7 series gets it. This should atleast get it on par with 4xa76 mediatek designs.

Why they haven't provided the arm cores they used and the gpu they used??.Don't think that it will be faster than sd730 or even 720g but lets see the time will tell

Snapdragon775 built on 6nm in 2020 felt like a wishful thinking... But this SD690 looks promising seeing all the improvements it brings and the price segment it's aiming at.

SD690 will compete against D800 for the sub-$200 5G phone market, depending on how SD690 is priced. D800 is already priced near $30, and if SD690 is priced similarly, we should start to see 5G phones priced near $150 forthcoming in the coming months. We are likely to see at least two more 5G SoCs (D600, Unisoc T7XXX, etc) aiming for even lower price segments. With luck, we may see 5G phones approaching $100 before the end of the year.

A great speed-up for the transition to 5G phones, regardless how lagging behind 5G infrastructure is in the most parts of the world. The reason for any 4G phones will disappear starting 2021.

"How many percentage of people lives in an area where 5G is available ? 0.00000001% ?"

Since this is sub-6 GHz. which I'm not sure how you missed that. It's in most of the US. T-Mobile said 200 million covered with low band several months ago. Probably higher now. At&t just announced 160 million covered with low band 5G. In Philly and NYC T-Mobile has 5G with both low band and mid-band
