The RoG Phone II experience is great. Despite Gor... moreThanks for replying, that's what I thought.
I have been in a love/hate relationship with my Xperia devices since 2011. All but the Z1C and Z3C have been very robust surviving several falls without cracks... but the aforementioned compacts where extremely fragile and the digitizer was fused to the glass, meaning that when it cracked, the touchscreen stopped working.
On the other hand, my son is still using my old Xperia Acro S from 2011, that thing is built like a tank.
My current Xperia XZ has survived countless of drops, including a 1.5 meter drop that cracked the plastic frame but luckily the display is still in 1 piece.
That is my only concern with the Asus ROG Phone 2, I don't consider myself clumsy, but accidents do happen and I have 2 kids in the house that can trip over a cable or push something out of a table...
Thanks again for your feedback.
KrS14, 12 Jun 2020More vapor ware...The Exhaust vent should be moved to the other part of the cp because it makes the users finger feel heat... Its. Annoying while playing .. moreover... The cooling system of the rog 2 is not enough to lessen the heat .. there should be a shorcut of refresh rate on the game genie because its a hassle going to dropdown button just to switch refresh rate and please fix the charging state because to gets hot while charging
KrS14, 12 Jun 2020More vapor ware...Vaporware lul? OMEGALUL! RoG Phone 1 and 2 already exists and so as the Zenfones. This is real. RoG Phone 3 and Zenfone 7 will come as usual then RoG Phone 4 and Zenfone 8 will be released next year as usual. You really don't know how the smartphone business work, right? Every company has to release a new model every year with a new flagship chip of the year.
robdevil XI, 11 Jun 2020A lot of people? Hahaha. Both Rog phones are dead. Very unpopular and forgotten even by Asus D... moreGot proof? They wanted the RoG Phone II because it's more complete than the other flagships from last year. This is what the community wanted right? Stop assuming negatives man.
ROG 1 PHONE Camera very problem...when i buy it ..first month its work ok... suddebly..its turn to very sucks problem..cannot focus and oh my god..i cannot describe..my heart explode..
Both Asus ROG 3 and Asus Zenfone 7 should keep last year's design with a little bit of changes. Asus ROG 3 should include Samsung GW1 sensor and little bit faster charger in the box. Otherwise everything is on point. Price below 550-600 dollars price tag. Make all variants available at the launch. Asus Zenfone 7 should keep last year's design with Sony IMX 686 as a primary sensor and that fingerprint should be round. Pop up camera mechanism would be better. Try to include Amoled screen as well. No need of in display finergerprint scanner. Price should be 480-520 dollars.
More vapor ware...
Mi asus rog phone ll no recibió android 10
albocaj, 11 Jun 2020If it comes out in September, then black Friday it is for me. I si simply ask for QHD, IP68, ... moreThe issue with me is I wasnt receiving texts but thats what you get with the international version apparently. Does anyone know if the US version has ANY issues like that?
albocaj, 11 Jun 2020If it comes out in September, then black Friday it is for me.
I si simply ask for QHD, IP68, ... moreDon't expect IP68 rating on a gaming phone.
The Zenfone 7 might have IP68 this year though.
Md. Tanjid Hossain, 11 Jun 2020This time they should improve on their camera section...atleast close to flagship level...bcoz... moreIf OnePlus 7t can be considered as daily driver, then so can ROG 2.

Md. Tanjid Hossain, 11 Jun 2020This time they should improve on their camera section...atleast close to flagship level...bcoz... moreMaybe Asus should get a high end main camera for not only taking great photos and video but also for AR purposes. Augmented Reality still has a lot of potential unlike Virtual Reality.
This time they should improve on their camera section...atleast close to flagship level...bcoz alot of people choose rog 2 as a daily driver.

The RoG Phone II experience is great. Despite Gor... moreless than 35 percent. Set your brightness to mid to high so the red tint is gone.
The tallness of the phone is not friendly for shallow pockets on your pants and your jacket. Use your bag or large pockets to safely put your phone.
Despite these gripes, the phone is amazing and it contains features no other mainstream flagships can have combined.
DQ, 11 Jun 2020Hey guys how has the experience with the ROG phone been for you? Is it a fragile device like I... moreYou replied to the right guy for the job.
The RoG Phone II experience is great. Despite Gorilla Glass 6, it's fragile. My phone got cracked after 1 week of purchase :(. It did survive and I recommend you not to buy that thin case with so many cutouts; Just get some thick case. The fact that it's heavy means that when I was feeling half asleep, it may slip off my hands and fall. I had two screen protectors and I'll soon get a third because my 2nd one cracked already.
I barely experience bugs but if I do, I just move on because it barely happened. The fingerprint scanner did have some inconsistencies. There was a red screen tint issue whenever you lower the brightness down to
I m really rejoiced and happy to hear the launch of this model
Love the Community, 11 Jun 2020I have a RoG Phone 2 too and it was a good decision to buy SD855 phone two years after my Noki... moreHey guys how has the experience with the ROG phone been for you? Is it a fragile device like I read about the original model (fragile display glass)... does it survive falls, do you use a case, etc?... Has Asus fixed issues or bugs?
I am asking all of this because I have an Xperia XZ and lusted over the ROG/ROG2 when they came out... but my XZ is still alive and surviving several drops to concrete without a case one it... I feel that I might need a new phone by the end of this year because the Xperia already feels a tad slow, the battery is not what it used to be and I just want better performance overall.
I am considering the Xperia 1 II or the Xperia 5 II (if they release it this year) but I can never get the ROG phones out of my head...
The only downside for me would be the HUGE size.. I am more use to this "compact" form factor but I can get used to either.
If it comes out in September, then black Friday it is for me.
I si simply ask for QHD, IP68, 3.5mm hp jack, and plenty USA 5G bands. Don't ruin it like the Red Magic 5G d
Did with connections.
