Poco F2 should of gone with SD 855+ and some other updates and still sell it as 350 euro starting point just like the Poco F1 as that would of been enough update from SD845
Now with the same K30 Pro rebranded nobody will care about it. There isnt any little rise on it as it be 6.5 inch screen tablet phone like the rest of the market that is full of these tablets with phone feature
Anonymous, 01 May 2020some stupid and greedy people took over POCO. i have poco f1 but i am not thinking anymore ab... moreI have POCO f1 and I still don't feel like to upgrade it will work fine form 2 more years.
Well, that’s it then, end of Poco in Europe. Why go the same way of OnePlus?! I bought the F1 on release because it was a ludicrous sum of money for what you got in return! This, however, is just plain rude!!! It’s iPhone money!
Is Europe getting the zoom edition of the K30 Pro? That going to be 800 euros?
Xiaomi are gonna go the way of OnePlus and start retreating from Europe unless they start to take it seriously
Anonymous, 01 May 2020Dissapointing it is way too expensive replacement for Mi9t Pro which was a true Flag ship kill... moreS20 got the worse battery life due to Exynos 990 poor performance which throttles in heavy tasks and will further degradate the battery. Better looking at last year Oneplus 7 Pro 700 euro or upcoming iPhones.
Poco F1 was 350 in Europe. This is a 100% price increase.
It's DOA. They've lost their minds none is going to pay that.
Seriously most people in Europe get Samsung or iPhone. How do they think this going to convince people to change when you can get the base version of the S20 for 750 and the new iPhone 12 for around the same too.
It should've been 400 max
some stupid and greedy people took over POCO.
i have poco f1 but i am not thinking anymore about poco f2.
So Xiaomi established a separate brand with separate personnel to rebrand and rebadge from another separate brand? So what do employees in the Poco division do? Pull out names of models from the other divisions and decide which devices to rebrand.
The Poco F1 was a path breaking phone. This is only going to break the path ahead for the division if not the company.
Poco F2 Pro is no longer the value orientated brand that it was made out to be. Thinking that this would be the case, instead of waiting for it, I ended up purchasing an LG v50 Dual Screen for USD$390 or €360. Much better value than paying nearly double with the only thing going for it (compared to the LG) are the cameras (debatable) and the higher specc'ed SOC.
r33fd, 01 May 2020If the 599 euro price is correct that is a about 50 % higher than K30 pro starting for what is... moreI think the same. The european prices now of Xiaomi aren't good anymore. So unless they drop it highly in months it'll be time to shift to other brand. I was wainting to the Mi Note 11... but now not sure what i'll do. Still i have some months to watch what happen before buy my next phone but the truth is that Xiaomi seems less attractive than before. Maybe Asus or Lenovo could still release something more reasonable. If not, then Honor will be the winner if the P40 Pro is too expensive.
With the new Apple leaked prices if true... Maybe we will have luck and they'll forced to lower the prices to compete and even the Mate 40 comes with a more reasonable ones...
If the 599 euro price is correct that is a about 50 % higher than K30 pro starting for what is essentially the same product.
That is insane!
Do they think Europeans are stupid or what?
It's a phone for non-pro users. Amoled is a lame technology with burn-in. No SD slot. This is no successor to F1, this is just another phone
Malung Poco independant kulled them. They are Clueless alone.
My only gripe with K30 Pro / F2 Pro is that the refresh rate is stuck at 60Hz and the only specialty this phone has is no notch. Other than that, there's tonne of better phones out there.
DOA
Dissapointing it is way too expensive replacement for Mi9t Pro which was a true Flag ship killer by way of performance and price.
Xiaomi becoming way too greedy now like Oneplus!
I was looking to replace my Mi9t Pro but at these prices I might as well pay a bit more only and buy a Samsung S20 range which is on sale all the time now with sales slowing; at least with Samsung the resale will be excellent compared with next to none, considering there are a ton of new phones out there, Xiaomi missed the chance of securing loyal customers of Mi9t Pro, blinded by greed!
Zero, 01 May 2020iPhone SE and Redmi Note 9S celebratesNote 9S has a crappy lcd.
Sorry don't like the design, particularly the round camera ring makes the entire phone look cheap and not attractive. I'll skip.
Know who would've thought the king of flagship killers will have better rivals, and at 600$.
