I am curious about the durability of the phone. I haven't seen a long term review of the original mate X so I hope to see this one have a long term review in the future.

Probably not the hinge. iFixIt revealed that Mate Xs has lots of metal shields and clips inside that prevents small particles from entering display assembly, which are missing from Galaxy Z Flip or Fold (though the Z Flip has a long brush to block out dusts along the hinge instead). Display durability wise I agree with you.

Finally we will see that even foldables can shoot quality photos(with right design), though this device is not exactly new. Want to see also selfies from main camera and super wide.
