That's way more important than the underperforming scamera thingy.

there's rumors about Note20 introducing under display camera. as now samsung is not waiting to introduce major changes from S series, as we have seen many mid rangers coming with 100mp before giving to S20.

Now dare you to tell me that a phone like the Nubia Red Magic 5G have GIANT bezel wasting the whole display and that is so damaging for your use of the phone.

At least you have a choice if you prefer the big ugly punch hole on the display.

Samsung can make money again out of Apple if under screen selfie/sensors camera works as it should and Samsung prove that, other than that Oppo and Xiamio already did it before and it’s falier.

The Underperforming Scamera is the worse possible solution for having fulldisplay smartphone, at the same level of puke hole and teareddown notch display...
There are many fulldisplay solutions, but a camera system that :
*Can't get a good image because it is looking through a display.
*A display where a part can't get a good image because a camera is looking through it.
*Not only give no privacy but even worse give a false sense of confidence.
*Is so hard to make that after millions spent and years of research no prototype worth hitting the market have been done yet.
*Cost a LOT, both because of the hardware and of the software required to make that contraption work, but also to make profits from the RnD it wasted.
*Can't get proper 3D facial recognition, hand gesture, IRIS scanner and other tech working without tons of software making it more an interpretation than a real image processing.
*Greatly reduce the performances of ambiant light and proximity sensors.
*Can't allow front floodlight to exist.
Is NOT the future, peoples think it is incredible the same way the puke hole seamed like a good idea at first, but it is a really bad way to get a fulldisplay implemented.
I LARGELY prefer either the mechanized pop up, second display on the back with all the sensors (except ambiant light and proximity sensor of course), or all sensors (again except those two) without second display, and every other solution, even the bezel who can't offer privacy over this stupid idea of wanting to put a camera under a display on Smartphones.

The SD665 & (very) tall screen still make me think twice, though. Other option perhaps the new iPhone SE. I don't really support Apple, but might buy this one just for the sake of uninterrupted screen, sensible bezels, and non-elongated screen ratio.

So they address mostly to people like me.
There's nothing I dislike more than a huge black dot in the display! It feels like there's a big clutter of dead pixels. Especially when watching a good movie!
Right now I'm waiting for Sony's latest flagship price to go down a bit and I'll swap boats to Sony. Also, the 3.mm jack is back baby!
Sorry Samsung! Between you and the jack, I choose the jack (and no punch hole).

This is better design than that ugly notch edit... moreAt least Apple did it, with some kind of practicality in their mind, hiding so many sensors for the Face ID. All the rest (with few exception, like Sony or Google), copied Apple just for the trend. I remembered some models from Xiaomi or Huawei, that didn't have anything except the front camera up there, but still had a huge notch. That is why I will never buy a phone from this companies again, they don't have any self-pride.
Samsung at least tries to innovate, or at least bring some kind of fresh things to the table.
Apple doesn't innovate lately that's true, but when they arrive to that concept, they do it perfectly, almost without flaws.
