The whole argument was them saying Samsung Pay is better due to magnetic strip support. I just proved that its not due to limited PARTNERS. Bye now. Stop wasting my time.
"Copy/paste is all we know!"
This should be this replica brand's motto :))
No thanks! I'd rather pay more and get the original!

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2020No it isnt useless. Dont tell me its only useful if Apple dpes the strip I guess. Stop hatin... moreLMFAO....it is a FACT that far more banks support Apple Pay than Samsung Pay. Therefore the argument that Samsung pay is more “accessible” is hardly valid. They may have the TECH but limited PARTNERS compared to Apple. I have Note 10+ and far more banks support Apple Pay in my country.
Try to comprehend that.
One step close to be more "Apple" than the Apple itself.
I don't think that "Huawei Card" is envisioned primarily as a traditional credit card. It is just a place-holder through which you can have more interesting play in the financial service in the future. Credit card is a great invention of American financial service in the mid-20th century. But from the perspective of the architects behind the evolving New Chinese financial service, credit card is a rather dated 20th century legacy, unsuited for 21th century way of life, enabled though 5G, AI, blockchain, cryptocurrency, etc. Within that new financial service framework, the credit card, in the traditional sense of the word, will be mostly sidelined. It will still be there, but people will not want to use it because there are better alternatives.
Huawei card for 1.4 billion people, stonks
How safe is yours huawei?and how many users are you expecting to use this?
Strictly speaking, "Ant Financial" is not a bank in the traditional sense of the word. But what "Ant Financial" does pretty much define what a 21st century bank ought to be. Other companies including Huawei are taking a serious notice of that. "Huawei Card" is a small step in that direction.
Alibaba's financial service branch "Ant Financial" will go IPO on its own, and the market value of "Ant Financial" can conceivably surpass that of Alibaba very soon if the IPO does happen. (Many other tech companies have made some rather exotic moves in the financial service sector, since the whole Chinese financial service sector is going high-tech in a fashion not seen anywhere else.) The fact is if you want to be a company of high standing, you need to have your play in the financial service, same goes with Huawei.
This has absolutely nothing to do with Apple card because Apple card has zero relevance in the Chinese market. It may have something to do with some of the rather exotic moves in the financial service sector by other Chinese Tech companies, e.g., Alibaba, Tencent, Bytedance, Baidu, etc.

sadh, 09 Apr 2020Nah in Indonesia. QR-based is the most popular choice. The same here in Malaysia, almost everyone uses QR-based e-wallets such as Boost, GrabPay, Touch N' Go, the lot.
LG Superfan, 09 Apr 2020How is this different than Huawei Pay? This is a physical card I assume, just like Apple Card.
Jmtm , 09 Apr 2020Nice! CCP take my banking and credit card info as well! If you have a bank account in China the government already has your financial information as all banks are state-owned so realistically this won't affect you
AnonD-558092, 09 Apr 2020You can't be innovative when you take the innovation of someone else and make it your own with... moreThe only innovation Apple did was the smartphone. Nothing else. Huawei has made more innovations than Apple. Copying something else is not bad if you make it better.
Nice! CCP take my banking and credit card info as well!
