Looks like I'll be waiting another year to update my phone then. I want max 5.9" size screen like the a40 but with a better camera.

This is sad. First phone is out June-July? I can't wait that long. 2nd P65? That's 12nm means gets heat and not energy efficient. 3500 battery will drain quick 80h is way too less. Remember J5 2017 was all metal aluminium and has like 96h, now cheap plastic poor battery etc.. Wtf Samsung...

I would like a new Samsung A3-2020 (like A3 2016-2017), so that phone hight would not be higer than 140mm, or even better to not be higher than 130mm. All new phones are to big to fit in one hand.

And to note A41 and A61 is kinda not part of the A series heirarchy

The IP68 rating and the under-display fingerprint scanner are nice additions over the A40. But a larger screen is NOT an "improvement"! The entire point of the A40 was its compact size!

We live ... moreThe comment is spot on,and A40 sold pretty well in Europe and I'm sure it would sell even more if it were available worldwide.
I also bought it mainly for it's size because it turned out to be pretty similar to iPhone 6,7 and 8 and so far I'm loving it even though it's a budget phone.
Only other options I see coming out this year are Pixel 4a with it's rumored 5.8 screen and iPhone 9,if I was looking for a new phone those two would be my pick
