Almost a perfect phone if it wasnt for the cancer notch
Anonymous, 26 Feb 2020Weight 293g! = +70/100g more than S20 and Note 10.
Only 395 ppi when 500+ ppi norm for flagsh... moreHDR10+ is Samsung's version of Dolby Vision. Only them makes screen with this.
LG uses own screen that are HDR10/Dolby Vision support.
OK, it looks good, but why no telephoto camera?? It is their flagship phone, not the G9 after all. I think this is a mistake.
ja, 26 Feb 2020looks ok, sounds really good... pending pricing info. I really hope they haven't overpriced it.LG phones prices usually drop a lot in a few months time, so I wouldn't worry about the price even if it releases at 1k euro. In 3-4 months it'll be on sites like wonda mobile for around 500 euro.
The specs are fine, but why the downgrades? The V series always had 1440p displays, so the downgrade to 1080p is obvious. Then there's the downgrade to dual-camera setup.
If this thing is cheaper than it's competitors, then people will ignore those shortcomings & buy it anyway. But if it's priced similar to them, then it'll be another flop from LG. I hope LG knows what it's doing...
Only two cameras? 60Hz refresh rate? What is LG thinking?!?!
Sure, a 5Ah battery is nice but the remaining specs just can't compete with what the competition offers.

Do we need a liquid solvent solution to remove it's battery? /s
AnonD-546724, 26 Feb 20206.8' and only 1080P screen ? Don't sounds so good The PPI is at 395 which is about the same as a 5.57" FHD 16:9 display which is still plenty sharp. You have to take account of the aspect ratio.
AnonD-546724, 26 Feb 20206.8' and only 1080P screen ? Don't sounds so good That's 395ppi, still great, you won't see pixels.
Seems like an overall compelling package but the display is such a letdown. Why did they go back to FHD+? Why stretch the display even WAYYY longer, at 20.5:9 aspect ratio? Why no support for high refresh rate?
Considering LG's 2K P-OLED is underratedly great, I'm saddened that they went with a lower resolution on this phone...crap. Not even a 90Hz refresh rate at least.
Oh well. Guess Sony's winning this round for me with the Xperia Pro unless Black Shark adds US bands.
1080p 60hz screen and lack of any sort of telephoto camera for a flagship device are deal breakers
Weight 293g! = +70/100g more than S20 and Note 10.

No HDR10+ ?
8GB Ram vs other flagship 12GB Ram.
* Other Article here write 293g, specs say 218g - what is the correct weight?
AnonD-546724, 26 Feb 20206.8' and only 1080P screen ? Don't sounds so good 1080p is fine on a 6,8" screen ... If this mean less battery drain for still a very sharp image and a lower price, I'll take this trade over a "not so necessary" higher res screen and ridiculous price.
There are 4 cameras in picture but only 3 is mentioned
6.8' and only 1080P screen ? Don't sounds so good
I hope the Quad DAC there is newer. Sad that Hand ID didn't click to the point that it's going to be a recurring feature. I hope it's the Sony IMX686 since it has 64MP but if it's Samsung's, I hope LG's jack of all trades algorithms make it look way better than the rest.
