To achieve multithread or core we need to use asyn function. Using of asyn function is very crap and difficult and it take app development time increases. Today max developing apps are single core and only few apps are multithread or multicore support. Cortex a77 is better than Cortex a76. So winner is 980 which has Cortex a77. In sd765 older Cortex a76 core technology is used.

SD765G 7nm (Antutu v8: 320000).
Exynos 980 8nm (Antutu: 330000).
Both are for mid-rangers, but SD765G is more thermal efficient. Dimensity chips are much better. Dimensity 1000 >> Dimensity 800 >> Exynos ~ SD765G.

Better than Helio P90 and 765g in single core performance which matters more while comparable in multicore performance.

Jaeger, 20 Feb 2020No. SD765 is better. Comparable CPU performance, better GPU performance, better 5G modem...The truth is quiet opposite. 980 clear ahead in CPU and very close to 765 in GPU.
Overall 980 better.
