Alcatel may be subpar but having the tech for 4/6gb ram and 64/128 GB storage phones with 3/4 cameras nfc and full HD screens under 250 is a solid start in the midrange market which is always more exciting than the flagship market. Remember.This is the same company that owns Alcatel mobile.Alcatel in recent years has made subpar or even poor quality midrange devices without any kind of software or update support. You are basically purchasing a chipset only device with any components copy pasted from any company out there.Their pricing is the same as Xiaomi but at least Xiaomi gives you updates.

I've used a TCL TV, and my experience was mixed. Not sure how their phones are like.
