It's no Trump's fault that they haven't been using gorilla glass for a few years now. It's just being greedy and disrespectful to clients.

[deleted post]The problem is I don't have a favourite brand now. Xiaomi is the closest, but I don't use AMOLED, so now there's nothing for me. I used to be a Huawei fan untill I saw the lack of gorilla glass and price increases without reason.

I can forgive the K710F for obvious reasons but, no side mounted fingerprint scanner and now the huge increase in price in the UK over the Eurozone price means unless there is a significant drop in price for the UK market (I can live without the side mounted fingerprint scanner...) I won't be upgrading from my 8X to the 9X and will be looking elsewhere for my next handset. Shame really as I love my 8X and was really looking forward to the 9X...

[deleted post]As much as i love Huawei phones, Redmi Note 8 Pro are the better deal. Its better than 9X & P30 lite on every aspects for the same pricing segment. That Mediatek are on par with SD845/Kirin 980 performance. Big battery. Gorilla Glass front & back. Great camera. I dont know anything about overheating issue yet.

Bad audio components and no gorilla glass. Huawei cuts costs where people can't see, they've become like the greedy brands that have almost disappeared. Also, the old chipset... I was a Huawei fan for a long time, but now I wish them to be banned entirely, new and old chipset, just ban the whole brand.
