So...I'm from South Africa, and couldn't wait any longer for the official ICS update for my region.
Just flashed the firmware with the European version (XXLPQ), and I'm pretty impressed.
Had a few hiccups with the initial update. But, after resetting to factory default, and flashing it again, all is working correctly.
Most impressed with the "Data usage" part of the update (SA data charges are high). All-in-all, ICS is looking good

Ahhh and so the wait is over... it has broken out of its cage and on its way for the time for the legandary galaxy s2 to seriously show its power once again is here... Long live galaxy s2... its a matter of hours now, and since we waited so long it might just turn out to be worth it with 99% of the bugs ironed out of it by samsung for s2.
Anonymouse, 09 Mar 2012Intratech over at XDA-Developers told me it would be the 13th before we see it when I asked him. This guy was right. How did he know?

Looks like Intratech was right again! Samsung have started to roll out the ICS update as I type. This is why I always ask him what's up instead of listening to leaked info on the internet.

"How many iOS updates are there ? Apple brings out hundreds of updates to keep their crappy phones working."
On Android, people get stuck with hundred of bugs because they can't get an update.
No ICS in Australia yet.
You guys will get ICS after Galaxy S3 came out.
I think it is for March 10th 2013 as its 13th of March 2012 already. LOL.

Apple brings out hundreds of updates to keep their crappy phones working." that almost made me stop listening... 1) every OS has hundreds of updates... and almost all are small (I believe ICS has about 15 already) and I bet Android gets more IOS... this updates pretty much do nothing except fixing bugs... and the iPhone great and the updates make it better.
