In any case this happened in 2014, and has not been repeated, Apple didnt even fix it coz it wasnt broken to begin with, no security hole existed, the brute force Find My iPhone hack never did any harm.

As an adroid guy for my whole life I will switch and get the 11 Pro. I wanted a Samsung device but since the new Exynos CPUs are lagging behind SD I will not pay for that. So I will get an iPhone - best CPU/GPU and long SW support.

The only way to get screwed at that point is if the phone has a built-in spying chip.

Then they also come preinstalled with google services, google chrome, gmail, etc. which is a downer as I don't allow google/facebook/amazon on my personal devices. Basically, as long as android is tied to google, it is just another a spying machine like facebook. And if you "untie" it from google, you won't have access to the play store, which means you need to get apps from other sources -- which is unreliable and most of the time the apps are unregulated and they contain malware, spyware, adware, etc.
All in all, you only use google (and android) if you don't care about yourself and you are ok with being a real-life monitoring subject. F7ck google, their policies, and their double-edged services!

Good for people that will trade in they're eligible iPhones, apple and all network carrier that do the trade-in NOW only accept trade-in if your iPhone is in good condition +MUST HAVE ORIGINAL APPLE screen or it will be rejected on eligibility to trade! They will give u option of fix it from apple store that u will sheD $200-tax & up depend on what iPhone u got or hit the highway because u will be rejected for trade in period! No exceptions lol
