Mediatek is a sheer disappointment.
What made OnePlus drive towards it?
I'm sure it is not the community who polled for mediatek.
Even the midranger snapdragon could have done the job better than any other mediatek.
I thought OnePlus always focused delivering 'Quality'.
Hands down for the TV.

They use the Q techn... moreSamsung's OLED displays have only been used in their mobiles at this point. Their Q-LED line are LCDs, and marketed on the 'No Burn-in" characteristic. I mean, would you really need more horsepower on a TV? ... moreEvery time you hit a button and there's a processing delay before a menu or setting pops up, you are reminded why a decent SoC should be used in 'Smart' TVs. Personally I'd prefer a straight up video monitor with nothing but video inputs, and (as others have said) a set-top box that I can upgrade if/when necessary.

Even extremely expensive sony OLED models came with absolute garbage processors until 2019.
I just don't understand why.
And btw when your tv is running Android you DO NEED power.
There are countless reviews saying Android TV is bad, but in reality they just evaluated TVs with trash SoC and that's why the system was running slow.

Pufff even two+ years old Sony TV's use better MTK SoC, TCL is absolutely a ruler in budget market so One+ two minus.
