I'm on EMUI 9.1 and I haven't found any bugs to speak of... No lag, phone is lightning fast and battery lasts at least 2 days.

Bugs?? None that I'm aware.
You could say that you don't like emui design, inconsistency in some menus...but no lag or bugs,.

had high hopes on EMUI 9 when i was on EMUI 8 , but after i saw how things actually didn't get changed ( or for worse if it did) i don't have any expectations on EMUI 10 ..

They should first optimise the existing phones then think about releasing a new version EMUI. Those who got EMUI 9 or 9.1 updates are still facing many bugs and lags.
