Any network provider will not cut in half the number of its clients, even they are not hard users. Because network managers like a lot big numbers when they are reporting the number of their clients.

"The Nokia 220 4G is compatible only with the 4G bands, which are prevalent in Europe."

So, 4G only and no 2G and 3G? Don't know in which Europe they live but you are lucky to get 4G outside major cities, heck even in Munich I had a hard time connecting to 3G, especially 4G.

Some people I know use 2G only because the reception is always available and you can live with super slow speeds if you're only using messaging apps.

It's made future proof, that's all. When time comes, 2g will become history, but you wouldn't need to change your phone, because it will support 4g, that is all. Net speed is not important, main thing is connection generation, so it would support as many, as it can. When time comes, we will see feature phones supporting 5g, so? Will you then talk about your country not suporting 5g, so they shouldn't make featurephones with 5g support? What a joke.

Believe it or not we have so many customers still buy the 105 and 216. Mainly because theyre familiar with it or don't want the hastle of a smartphone and its features.
