That means masking the truth, shadowbanning legitimate sources, presenting you with stats and "facts" which will steer you the "right way" based on the things that are triggers for your personality.
They don't just sell ads, they control the flow of information and they made it clear in their official statements that they want to steer people in the direction they deem is "acceptable" and "right for everyone". So if you search for certain topics, you will be presented with biased information that has the highest chance of making you form certain opinions and think a certain way about them.
The bad thing is that they are not the ones that should decide what is acceptable and what is not, as they are biased. They should not be allowed to judge who sees what, who reads what, who should know what, and which real information and facts should be hidden because they would trigger some people and would make others feel sad/uncomfortable.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2019How could you live without these apps?I use apple maps, imessage, citymapper, outlook email, onedrive, microsoft office, icloud, spotify & apple music, duckduckgo, bitchute, and no social media except reddit, which I barely use. And 4chan, which I use in a browser.
Other than that, I have a bunch of photo and video editing apps, music creation tools, and other utilities.
I haven't missed google one bit, and I can do everything I want with my phone.
And I don't use google/facebook/instagram/snapchat/whatsapp/youtube/etc. on my laptop either. I sometimes use youtube while at work, but that's about it.

Just today it was revealed that US government did grab tons of data from german drivers license-database. I don't care for google or apple, the whole system is a failure.

Apple security is same bad as Google security.
Somewhere ive read a small 5 years old kid were able to breach Iphone.
If a kid can do this the Cupertino have no riigts to talk about security.
I really hope that HingMeng or Ark OS will force other OS to shut up and send their companies and creators to hell.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2019Ok then will buy Nokia 3310 lol.trust me, i dont care about spy on me or in my phone, you are under vigilance almost 24h day by other things you didnt know...so, life is too short to care about spy, they don earn nothing with that, since i ignore all ads i see, even in my browser, tv, radio or elsewhere, they can do whatever they want, i know i am safe, i live in a real world not in a digital one...
i can go and find my stuff onliner without being fooled by ads or something like some brand can try to push me to their, but i dont...i dont give a sh/t about that.
anyway, the biggest two im out for real, no crApple for me and sammy, cause im not the trendy guy who buy simple to show off, that means i dont follow rules, or the same destiny as other blind people around.

Uhhm, there's a subtle hint to Google here which Yordan and the commenters missed.
It's a dish, when you realise they are showing the back of the iPhone and hinting at the camera. It's basically saying, yeah the iPhone 11 was leaked with the rear camera, and yeah the Pixel 4 is copying the iPhone.
More like a message to Google, so they can do their own thing and stop imitating Apple.
"We're in the business of staying out of yours"
PS: I already saw the billboard, and the copying of the Pixel 4 to the iPhone 11 is what came to my mind immediately. It's very tongue-in-cheek.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2019#thefappening should be a decent response from googleThe #fappening was the result of weak passwords set up by the users themselves. Weak passwords and/or using the same password on multiple accounts over the web which got stolen.
You can have the best lock in the world, but if you keep a copy of the lock code under your doormat, people will have no trouble opening your lock.
